Biography
Lana Zorjan was born in 2008. and has been playing the violin since the age of 4. She has won multiple special prizes as well as laureates at international competitions (Austria, Russia, Sweden, Spain, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina) and had over 300 concerts, public performances and TV appearances.
Lana is a winner of one of the most prestigious awards in classical
music, International Classical Music Award – ICMA 2024. in category
“Discovery of the year”.
She is a scholarship holder of charitable foundation “Musik&Jugend” from Liechtenstein.
She had 29 performances as a soloist with 14 different orchestras in 5 countries ( Valencia Orchestra, Komorni filharmonie Pardubice, Duna Szimfonikus Zenekar, Budafoki Dohnanyi Orchestra, Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra, Mostar Symphony Orchestra, SNP Opera Symphony Orchestra, Vojvodina Youth Philharmonic, Kocijan 2022 contestant orchestra, Zrenjanin Chamber Orchestra, Art Link Chamber Orchestra, Kamerata Balkanika, MasterArt Academy Chamber Orchestra ), performances in Moscow, Vienna, Budapest, Usti nad Orlici, Mostar and solo concerts in Ljubljana, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica…
Lana performed with conductors : Tomaš Brauner, Toshifumi Kanai, Alexander Liebreich, Maximilian Haberstock, Janos Kovacs, Pavel Doležal, Srboljub Dinić, Igor Tatarević, Aleksandar Kojić.
She participated in masterclasses of professors : Zakhar Bron, Latica Honda -Rosenberg, Lihay Bendayan, Stefan Milenkovich, Pavel Šporcl.
Winner of Artlink award for most promising young artist in Serbia for 2023.
