Biography
Born in 2008, Lana has been playing the violin since the age of four. She is a prizewinner of many competitions around the globe and has had over 300 concerts and television appearances. In January of 2024, Lana became a winner of the prestigious Discovery Award of the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) which led to her debut in Spain accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of Valencia on the ICMA Gala Concert.
Zorjan is a student of professor Stefan Milenkovich at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. Besides her studies in Serbia, she is also a scholarship holder at the Musikakademie in Liechtenstein and regularly takes part in the Intensive Weeks, concerts and other events offered by the academy.
She has performed a couple dozen concerts as a soloist with orchestral such as Symphony Orchestra of Valencia, Malagà Philharmonic Orchestra, Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the Serbian National Theatre and others.
Lana performed with conductors such as Alexander Liebreich, Guillermo Garcia Calvo, Tomaš Brauner, Toshifumi Kanai, Jose Maria Moreno Valiente, Maximilian Haberstock, Janos Kovacs, Pavel Doležal, Srboljub Dinić, Aleksandar Kojić and others.
On her musical path, she has participated in masterclasses of professor Zakhar Bron, Pavel Vernikov, Ingolf Turban, Latica Honda – Rosenberg, Lihay Bendayan, Stefan Milenkovich and Pavel Šporcl.
Lana plays on a violin of Laurentius (Lorenzo) Bellafontana (Italy, 1952) kindly loaned by the Foundation “Musik und Jugend”.
